our missions Partnerships

Carrying out the Great Commission is central to the identity of Calvary Community Church.  Because of that, Calvary dedicates a sizable percentage of its income to mission work. About half of our missions budget goes to missionaries and organizations serving both locally and around the world and the other half goes to support the Ban San Faan children's welfare home in Thailand.

Looking to our local community, Calvary supports the following organizations:

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Cowlitz County Chaplaincy

Child Evangelism Fellowship

Premier Choice for Women

Community House on Broadway

Further afield, Calvary supports missionaries serving in a variety of locations including Alaska, Germany, India, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Thailand, and Turkey.

For its part, the Ban San Faan children's home in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a Christ-centered children's welfare home where orphaned and otherwise vulnerable children can be nurtured physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Founded in 2001 thanks to the generosity and diligence of Calvary members working with select Thai nationals, Ban San Faan (meaning "house of fulfilled dreams") currently houses more than 20 children and a loving professional staff.  Each child has a Calvary sponsor and is provided with room and board, a quality education, spiritual direction, and a sense of family support and belonging.
