AWANA Clubs

Ages 3 years – 5th grade

“AWANA” stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed which is taken from II Timothy 2:15. AWANA is an international organization dedicated to the spiritual growth of young people. The AWANA Clubs at Calvary Community Church try to provide an atmosphere in which a child can enjoy growing: *Spiritually

AWANA CLUB SUMMER BREAK

NO AWANA MAY-AUGUST

2013-2014 AWANA Club Resumes in SEPTEMBER

Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Cubbies - 2 years prior to Kindergarten (parents need to be working with AWANA or Youth)

Sparks - Kindergarten - 2nd Grades

T&T - 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades

Activities Include:

"Game Time" in the gym, stressing healthy competition with emphasis on good sportsmanship—win or lose

"Council Time” with songs, speakers, announcements, and presentation of awards, received from work accomplished.

"Handbook Time” which consists of time spent in small groups with a leader where memory of God's word is encouraged.
